About the Event
During the Cold War, the race to the moon was about far more than reaching space. It was about technological superiority, geopolitical influence and the power to shape the future.
Today, we may be witnessing a new moon race. Only this time, the frontier is artificial intelligence.
AI is already transforming how we work, make decisions and participate in society. The opportunities are extraordinary. But as AI becomes more influential, who decides how it should be used?
Who gets to build our future? Who gets a voice? And who decides the rules and values that shape it?
On November 10, The Gallery Seoul welcomes Lucy Preston, Head of Digital Policy at the British Embassy in Seoul, and Sohee Yang, political activist and social entrepreneur.
From diplomacy to democracy, they bring distinct perspectives on AI, global power and the choices that will shape our future.
