About the Event
On 12th November, The Gallery Seoul, in partnership with Hyundai Motor Company, invites you to a special event where an expert from UN Women, the global champion for gender equality, will be our guest speaker. Taking place in Hyundai Motor’s newly opened Gangnam office, the talk will focus on the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs).
Established by UN Women and UN Global Compact, the WEPs are a set of principles offering guidance to businesses on how to advance gender equality and women’s empowerment in the workplace, marketplace, and community. Working with the Principles functions as a multiplier for action and progress.
The presentation will explain how the principles work and how they contribute to accomplishing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015..
