We work to identify great speakers that reflect diverse ideas of leadership, skills and empowerment. We organize speakers and locations to ensure a thought provoking event and publish essays to document the event and share what we learned.
Inger Winther Johannsen
Inger is the founder of The Gallery. In Seoul she serves as the Volunteer Executive Director of Open Arms, a play based English program in welfare homes across the city. Inger has a career in public welfare development, bringing together ministeries, municipalities and NGO’s to create a better welfare system in Denmark.
Emma Rooker Roberts
Emma is a creative and experienced communicator. She is the founder of an award winning marketing and PR agency. Emma served on the leadership team at England’s Chester Cathedral. Now working alongside the Gallery team, Emma also serves as an Advisor to the Executive Committee of the British Chamber of Commerce and was also co-President of the British Association of Seoul.
Ann Fuell
Ann has worked in universities, consulting and secondary education. She has served and led various boards of governors and trustees. She put her career on pause when she moved to Korea. She serves on the Board of Governors at Seoul Foreign School and is an advisor to the British Chamber of Commerce.
Julyann Hwang
Julyann is a finance specialist having served many years on Wall Street. She is a natural strategist and brings critical insight to the direction and vision of the Gallery.
Liz McCarthy
Liz is an experienced teacher and a seasoned journalist. She founded the Women’s Social Cricket League and has managed football programs and teams at her local football club in Australia. After moving to Seoul she volunteers at school helping kids improve reading, writing and research skills.
